It was a night worth remembering...
On Saturday February 10, 2007, we held our 5th Annual Benefit Dinner
and Auction. Emcees for the evening were Evy Ramos and Kopi
Sotiropulos from
KMPH-TV. Check our photo gallery

Associate Director of the White House
Domestic Policy Council.
The highest placed person with a disability in the Bush
Administration who challenged the crowd to look for ways to help
those who are in need.

NFL
Hall of Famer Jim Kelly
was introduced and told the crowd about his football and
family life and how tragedy of losing his son Hunter helped his
family to help others.
Prior to the dinner portion, Jim autographed programs for
attendees.

Apollo 11 astronaut Dr. Buzz
Aldrin took
the podium, he spoke about how the space program impacted his
life and today tours the country motivating people.
The
highlight of Dr. Aldrin featured a special flag folding ceremony
by the Travis AFB Honor Guard which presented an American Flag
to Dr. Aldrin who presented it to the crowd. |
The crowd bid on numerous
auction items and events raising money that will allow the Miracle
League to expand and help to meet the growing needs in our
community.
